What is the Guildford & Waverley Community Gynaecology service?

 

Winners of The Women’s Health Initiative Award, as part of the National GP Awards 2018

 

The GWCGS is a community based service which has been running since 2014. Following a successful pilot project the service is now fully integrated with the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

 

The aim of the service is to improve access for women with gynaecological needs, and provide women with the care they need without having to attend the hospital. The service is accessible to all patients registered with a GP in Guildford & Waverley.

 

Our clinic is based at Shere Surgery and provided by our team of expert GPs with a Special Interest in Women’s Health.
